Fix There Was a Problem Enabling iCloud Backup

Fix There Was a Problem Enabling iCloud Backup

“I recently updated my iPhone to the latest Ios. But during the process, I was asked if I want to backup to iCloud. The problem is when I choose yes, I get an error saying, “There was a problem enabling iCloud Backup.” Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

If you are experiencing this error on any other similar error when you to try to back up your device on iTunes, we have a few solutions that you can try. Read on to find out what you can do to complete the backup and eliminate the error completely.
1. What Apple Recommends

If you see this error while backing up your device to iCloud, Apple recommends that you wait 10 minutes and then go to Settings > (Your Name)> iCloud > iCloud Backup, then scroll down and tap Back Up Now.

Or you can go to Settings > iCloud and tap on your Apple ID and sign in your Apple password. Check if iCloud backup is available on the Apple Systems support page or contact Apple Support.
2. Restart your Device

Try restarting your device. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Before you restart the device, turn off the iCloud Backup feature. Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage and turn off “iCloud Backup.”

Step 2: Turn off the device and then wait a few seconds before pressing the power button to turn it back on.

Step 3: Now go back to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and turn on “iCloud Backup” again to see if it works.

3. Reset Network Settings

If you are still having problems with your iCloud backup even after restarting the device, it is likely that the problem could be network related. Resetting your network settings may, therefore, be a viable solution. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Reset. Here, choose “Reset Network Settings.

Step 2: Confirm that you want to reset the network settings and your device will be restarted with default settings.

Enable iCloud backup and try again to see if the backup process can be completed.

4. Upgrade your iOS

A device that is running an unstable older version of iOS may have problems with an iCloud backup. If you haven’t updated your iOS, take a moment to do that. Here’s how.

Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Software Update

Step 2: If there is a newer version of iOS available, tap “Download and Install” to upgrade your device.Sponsor ads:Fix ios device
